Unison don’t want people to vote Labour

In their latest advertisng campaign for the local elections in May, Unison have not only not said ‘Vote Labour’ but they have called on people to “Please don’t vote for public service cuts”, and as Labour is committed to public service cuts, albeit lower cuts though for twice as long a period, when Unison says, “Please don’t vote for public service cuts” it is actually saying “Don’t vote Labour”.

Unless of course it is hoping that people don’t realise that Labour supports public service cuts, but that would just be a cynical union dishonestly advertising.

So let’s be fair and take Unison at their word: they don’t want us to vote Labour.
