Politics: Manchester’s biggest education spend in years

Labour spent a great deal on bricks and mortar, or rather they handed our schools to the private sector to do the investment and now we rent our schools back at extortionate fees.  What they failed to do was to spend money on educating the children from the poorest background.

Thanks to the Liberal Democrats in Government, the Pupil Premium is being invested directly in those children whose education needs are greatest, by providing them the additional support that they need in the classrooms.
